  • What ever floats your boat Hon. Obviously you do not have a sophisticated palate (and, how would you play this on the harp). Here, let me explain it: It's called "Bottle Neck"guitar. Lots of people like it.. . . and I guess some don't. If you equate it with disco, then I can guess you have never heard the Country Blues or Blue Grass, both which use the slide. Have a nice day, and thanks for the lovely comment!

  • Here's a guy pouring heart and soul into his playing. None of Tom Emmanuel's fannying around and stupid facial contortions. Magical Mr Lang.

  • Man, what an incredible musician. Thank you Mr. Lang for capturing the spirit of the North and transforming it into such tasteful food for the soul.

    Peace and love from Canada.

  • I remember listening to the album until it had so many skips and gouges I had to replace it. But the old album cover was put up on the wall until it was fly-speckled and yellowed. Love Kottke and Fahey, but Peter Lang's compositions are simply magic. Hearing this again brought me to tears. It's time to replace the old album again.

  • Bravo ! Just wonderful ! I stumbled upon this great perfomance looking for a Video of pianist Peter Lang from Austria. Now what a marvellous surprise ! Thank you so much ! Favorite !

  • Man great to see this guy placing some sounds on those strings, blind willie johnson would be proud! Does peter lang still play?

  • Thanks so much Peter for taking the trouble to get these videos up! Just fantastic to see you playing. You were the reason I wanted to play guitar in the 70's. You remain an inspiration. I hope you will keep playing for us! Thanks and God bless, --Bill Forest, VA

  • Holy Mother the rain of notes that fell right in their proper place......that was perfect!
