@equals3wannab Hey there. The tutorial was created to show everyone how to create one fun component in wire from beginning to end. It is a neat technique which offers so many possibilities when a creator allows the imagination to flow. If a ring is something you envision making then you can just add this component to your ring creation skills like you would, if you were adding a bead or cabochon etc. I hope this helps..
