Testing the handheld limits of the 7D for aliasing rolling shutter in both 1080p 24 and 720p 60 modes. Results are amazing in this 30 second montage

  • my galaxy s is just as good

  • @KraZyRuskieFilms Top Gear just uses filters placed over the camera lenses. The same can be achieved using slot type filters available for the Canon 7D such as "Lee Filters" or "Cokin". One useful and commonly used filters is a 'tobacco' filter. This gives a decent looking brownish gradient which can make certain shots look awesome.

  • @eastsideozzy - controlling exposure is easy with a Vari ND or Fader ND filter. Check out Singh-Ray. Instead of controlling it with shutter speed (which will result in jerky motion), these act as controllable sunglasses for your camera.

  • Lens that top gear uses? they don't use any specific lenses to get any certain look. You're probably thinking of the vignetting which is done in post.

  • nice vid.

  • if you used the lens that Top Gear uses it would look like a Top Gear segment

  • Nice. The 24P looks great!

  • was this recorded on 24p? or converted? how did you with the bright sunlight?

  • nice cars and the canon seems to have held up well with those high contrast conditions! great work
