Explore Media, Clifton Library Roadshow - Mike Leigh Cooper on "Art & Media: Ways Out Of Poverty"

Explore Media is a community and social media project offering free taster workshops and roadshows in York during February and March 2010. If you want to develop media skills, for yourself or for your community group, there is nothing stopping you now.

As part of the Explore Media project, we delivered 3 fill day roadshows at which we demonstrated some of the ,libraries new equipment, as well as speaking to local users of the library about their projects and using the kit - with most people having a go at live web T V broadcasting, camera operating, or blogging.

This video is an excerpt from the Clifton library roadshow in February 2010 with Mike Leigh Cooper speaking about a new 2 year project, of which KhaoZ Media is a partner as part of the European Youth4Media network, "Art & Media: Ways Out Of Poverty".
The project carries further weight in this year, 2010 - the year of challenging poverty and social exclusion.
