I think there should be a mandatory basic safety course involving various scenarios such as this for people aged 18 & new migrants. It would only need to be a couple of days at most.
(such as 1-2 year compulsory military enlistment that other countries have)
I think its absurd that alot of people dont know how to change a tyre. Why isnt this a part of required knowledge to get a license to drive?
