The tragedy of the attacks of 9/11 is ours to share; it is ours to remember; it is ours to understand.
Yet, our memory and understanding were clouded almost from the first horrible moment Flight 11 struck the north tower. No-one could believe such a brazen and simple attack could be so tragically effective. Disbelief quickly gave way to conspiracy theories and suspicions. These ideas from the fringe found a fertile breeding ground on the internet and today many of them, through the power of almost infinite repetition, have nearly gained the status of truth.
THE 9/11 CONSPIRACIES: FACT OR FICTION produced in 2007 exhaustively examines some of the most persistent of these theories: that the World Trade Center was brought down by a controlled demolition; that a missile, not a commercial airliner, hit the Pentagon; and that members of the U.S. government orchestrated the attacks in hopes of creating a war in the Middle East. Each conspiracy argument is countered by a variety of experts in the fields of engineering, intelligence and the military. The program also delves into the anatomy of such conspiracies and how they grow on the Internet.
@tyleryesta1 Dude I just told you, they are INVESTIGATIVE REPORTERS. Their jobs are to find credible sources of information that can give them a more accurate interpretation of what happened.

So then why does it say expert response right before they speak? Thats my whole point.. if they're not the experts, just journalists and researchers, then why are they being interviewed as such?

@tyleryesta1 He never claimed to be an expert neither did Davin Coburn. There are some who work at Popular Mechanics who are experts in aviation, engineering and physics. But Jim Meigs and Davin Coburn's jobs as reporters are to look for expert sources ask pertinent questions, and present their insights in an accessible manner. Their job as reporters are to look for accurate information from a reliable source, and present it to the readers.

I love this whole "expert response" bullshit. James Meigs stated in a debate that he wasn't an expert on any of the issues pertaining to 9/11, yet he right in there.

@mlynchy88 If you believe on (trust in and rely upon) the Lord Jesus Christ, then you are saved. He died on the cross so we could be forgiven things like taking His Name in vain. Then He was buried and on the third day He rose again, justifying all who believe in Him. In that case, Jesus Christ is in you. Examine yourself: is He in you (2 Cor 13:5<--look it up)? He won't lead you to take His Name in vain (or counsel someone to fornicate!!) but instead will convict you of sin if you do so.

@Enoch2 Honestly I'm christian and everything but I don't think I'm going to hell for saying Jesus Christ or God...

@mlynchy88 Hey! Don't take the Lord's Name in vain! Who do you think you are?
"Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain: for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain." Deut 5:11
Do you know what "not hold him guiltless" means? It means a death sentence ON YOU, damned to hell and the second death for ever.
The only hope for you? Believe on the Name of the Son of God, Jesus Christ.
