You can use the rpm range all the way up to 4750 for grade braking on all Dmax's. They took the dotted redline off the 06's and up because it was confusing people, which the dotted redline really meant that it was ok to be in that rpm range for grade braking purposes

factory they redline at 3500. if u spin a motor with 20 to 1 compression at 6 grand on stock internals it will let go in a hurry
