It's actually the backlight bulb or the inverter. If it works at all, it's probably the bulb. I just had this happen to my tx2513cl, replacing the inverter did nothing. I'm waiting on replacement bulbs right now. If that doesn't work, I'll get a replacement screen (which comes with a new backlight). I'll update this with my results.
