Ariel's Mistake

Story: Ariel first meets Jim when she saves him from a fire on his ship. They start to hang out and she falls in love with him. Ariel can change into a human at will, but only for an hour, so wanting to be human to be closer to Jim she makes a deal with Ursula. If Jim falls in love with her within a month then she'll be able to stay human forever, but if he doesn't then she needs to pay Ursula back with whatever she wants. Pocahontas comes by and Jim falls head over heels in love with her, Ariel feels sad about this and runs away. Two weeks later Jim tells Ariel that he's in love with Pocahontas and that he hopes she feels the same, Ariel turns away to make sure Jim doesn't see her cry and wishes them the best. A week later after Ursula hears about Jim falling in love with Pocahontas she comes to collect Ariel's debt, the price is her voice. Later on when Jim is playing with Morph he sees John Smith confess his love to Pocahontas and is devastated when he hears Pocahontas return the feeling. While Ariel is in the sea grieving over the loss of her love and voice Jim is on land remembering Ariel's confession an hour before she disappeared from his life and he regrets not returning the feeling.
