My Shahada

Made the decision to take my Shahada, alhumdiliah and did it yesterday afternoon - September 13th 2010. Before I do it, I give a little explanation of why I decided to do it and become Muslim.

I do get a little emotional afterward, this is something that has touched me so deeply and finally doing it means the world to me. I am still beaming! :-)

think - christians are infidels you cannot support their beliefs - quran says Jesus was born in bizarre circumstances , and changes all biblical stories - why because jews are enemies - do you think , faith can blind - so test all things , do you believe in the armour given you ( King Saul gave David) or in the confidence God gave you to sort it out with his help alone ( David killed the giant with a small stone).

@allahisaliar its wonderful to have independent thought but please vocalize it in a respectful and peaceful way. I may disagree with other religions but will fight for them to have the right and respect to practice it as long as it is in a loving and peaceful way. God is not present for us as a tool of distance from fellow mankind but as something to bring mankind together in a loving manner
