2. Gloria - Conducting Recital. Javier Ivan Diaz M.A.

Javier Ivan Diaz is a singer, songwriter, composer, and choral conductor graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a bachelor in commercial Music and masters in Choral Conducting. He also studied at the Pontifical Xaverian University in Colombia. He began his musical journey in his natal Colombia inspired and motivated by the music played at church. At the age of 12 years old Javier Ivan started to take lessons in guitar and piano, and he completed his high school education in a special music program led by the Salesian Priests at Don Bosco Center in Bogota. He became an active musician in his local catholic church. The passion for God and music inspired him to compose music for masses, and inspirational songs that have been recorded in compilation CD's and these became popular in youth groups and catholic events in Colombia.

In the year 2000 he moved to the State of Florida to finish his professional education in music sponsored by San Isidro Catholic Church in Pompano Beach where he also worked as the music director. After his bachelor graduation Javier Ivan was appointed as the music director at Saint Francis de Sales church in South Beach. Javier Ivan is a trained tenor and he has sung in opera master classes with Marcello Giordanni, Dean Peterson, Cristina Fontanelli, Manny Perez, Virginia Zeani, Dr. Patricia Fleitas, Julliard voice teachers and other American well-known singers and couches.

He also worked as the creative director at Pax Catholic Communications. He has composed, directed, and arranged music for several music ministries, christian recording artists, choral groups, and catholic bands. In 2008 Javier Ivan was scheduled to perform as a part of World Youth Day Sydney Australia. In her invitation letter to Diaz, Sister Eileen McCann, Program Coordinator said, "Javier is a highly recommended Catholic Recording Artist...In addition to a performance he will broadcast the event to listeners around the world. He also has been invited to perform in catholic conventions, music educators and choral conducting conventions in the United States and Colombia.

Javier Ivan Diaz is the genius behind the wildly popular Internet based Christian radio station "Radio Paz Musical" based in Miami, Florida (www.radiopazmusical.com). It is a part of the Pax Catholic Communications family and recently celebrated its third year anniversary boasting thousands of monthly listeners from around the world.
