  • If Obama is pulling out 2 brigades a month, and the violence in Iraq picks up, then there will be a pause in the withdraws.

Plus, Obama will be moving many of those withdrawn troops over to Afghanistan. Maybe 40,000 eventually moving to the battle in Afghan.

For ANYONE to pull out all but 30,000 troops out of Iraq in 16 months is a big challenge. A huge task.

And I don't think being shot down in a bomber gives McCain any advantages in running this war. Unless you want WW3?

  • Why do news-casters always assume that they are also political pundits?

  • al qaeda warroirs in iraq will follow americans troops back to afghanistan. but from an economic viewpoint one battleground is better then two, no?

  • "And I don't think being shot down in a bomber gives McCain any advantages in running this war."
