@TheMsdos25 I personally prefer Ubuntu even though you can't customize it as much as you used to be able to. At school everyone got a HP Mini laptop with Ubuntu 9.04 pre-installed and it will only let us upgrade upto 10.10. When I got Ubuntu 11.10 on a USB and I showed it to my mates they said that "is so much quicker!" and even though I showed them you can't customize it as much they loved it more than the old Ubuntu...

this is why linux mint is more popular than ubuntu now. these crappy interfaces. the developers should make ubuntu 11.10 look like ubuntu 10.04 LTS
