The funny thing is: the three times I have seen Metallica play live, every member of the Band played at a different speed. :) And the awsome producer who gets their mess stitched right in the end (talking about Justice for All) is ranted at later by an overrated musician for doing an awsome job. But ... oh yes: hammer ons and pull offs: amazing brand new technique...

For starters yes i play guitar. I just passed my 5 year aniversary.

And i think Petrucci is a fast player. But of course there are faster players.

I totally agree with you, but i thought about the experiment the 2 guys were making.

Metallica is cool band and as musicians they are gifted.

But i just came out with my oppinion, saying that it could be cool to see a faster guitarplayer, like Vai, Malmsteen, Batio or any other shredder. No offence of any kind meant. :)
