The Jet Man, Yves Rossy, a former Swiss military pilot, designed and built a deployable 3-meter wing, holding kerosene fuel for 2 jet engines (as of May 2008 FOUR turbines on a 2.5m wing!!) fixed to the tips and attached it to his back. @Rat69Fink We have four national languages here in Switzerland, German, French, Italian & Romansh. A French person could tell you from his accent that he's from Switzerland, especially when he's (more) excited after his flight.

@MisterSensational This video is from 2005, he had two JetCat P160 jet engines (16kg thrust each) mounted unter the wing.

Currently, he flies it with four JetCat P200 engines. He does loopings and aerobatic maneuvers now ;)

C'est excellent.... je ne trouve même pas un mot pour exprimer ma joie pour votre invention. Entant qu'un amateur de parachutisme et un fabricant mécanique spécialisé dans le demain d'aéronautique je vous souhaite M. Rossy une bonne continuation.
