The Day the Earth Laughs (April 1st 2009) the opening ceremony of Celebration Earth will end at a beautiful shrine overlooking Naha, the Capital City of Okinawa, when the Sabani Peace Treasure Ship arrives bearing the Seven Gods of Happiness who will usher in an age of abundance and prosperity. At the top of the shrine is a memorial which proclaims 'RYUKU - THE ISLAND OF WORLD PEACE. Okinawa was once the Kingdom of Ryukyu and the memorial was erected in 2003 with the assistance of Musician and State Senator Kina Shoukichi, who's song Hanna remains one of Japans all time classics.
