Planetary Festival IZANAI Soh-odori Matsuri (Dance Festival) in TOKYO

IZANAI is a new dance movement that is spreading throughout Japan, and the world. It was created by, dancer and choreographer, Suga Kunitomo, a long time choreographer for and supporter of the Yosakoi Festival in Kochi Prefecture. She sought a dance style that is freer than the traditional yosakoi, but still captures the hearts of all who see it. IZANAI is high-energy, with dancers giving themselves up to the moment, and never fails to captivate its audience.
