I actually like it this fast, but I don't like the glissando at the end.

Bravo! The tempo is exactly what Gershwin wanted. I can almost play it this fast, and will be able to once I have it memorized. I can play all 18 of the pieces and have worked on them for YEARS. The more I play them, the more I realize what a genius Gershwin was. I'l almost ready to perform the Three Preludes, another inspired set.

this is not really gershwin's arrangement.. not rhythm in the beginning. yikes. or in the end. or at all..

sorry guys, this IS Gershwin's arrangement - every note is what he wrote back in the 30's when preparing this volume of piano solo concert arrangements of his songs. do your research before posting comments pls
