@lazzg Heh, GTA4's engine is pretty solid, and capable of some pretty amazing this with mods. Check out this video: watch?v=pEHtzSz8FT0 That's a video for ICEnhancer, a mod for GTA4, and it looks fucking gorgeous. If you've got a bitchin gaming machine, you should give it a try.

Crytek pretty much sucks at making good engines. They look good, but run like garbage. It's no surprise that far more developers would rather use Unreal Engine 3, it looks amazing, and runs great as well.
