The Argument's Logical Jim but Not as We Know It

Over the past couple of weeks I have been having a debate of sorts with a user called Chad Elliott who has proposed a logical argument that he says is completely undefeated

His argument is that ...

If you reject the logical notion of an eternal uncreated creator creating the universe then you must instead choose a proposal that is a variation of time and space being eternal or that something came into existence out of pure nothing and created the universe and that both of these two proposals are completely irrational and illogical and that this proves that all atheists are illogical and irrational

Yes I know, I can think of a logical proposal that is neither of these two as well.

I told him so and this sparked of our little email exchange.

I wouldn't advise trying this yourself as chad is a bit of an imbecile, insisting that you outline and describe a cause when you tell him that there is no cause and asking you how things are created when you say there was no creator.

He has some real problems with his own acronyms, describing STE to mean Space and Time are Eternal and that this includes ANY concept of space and time and that such a thing is illogical but at the same time putting forth a logical proposition that states that you have an eternal creator that created the universe which must exist in some concept of eternal space and time to actually be present and do things.

I am guessing that Chad Elliott is a fantastic example of why we turn to theoretical physicists and mathematicians for an explanation of the origins or the universe and not meat-headed American football players who perform really bad rap songs.

It goes without saying that I defeated his argument several times over and so he blocked me from leaving comments on his channel and sending him personal messages after I started copy/pasting the same set of answers back to the identical and repetitive set of questions he kept sending me.

Finally, a message to Chad

Tried to post on his respose vid about a hole I found in his logic. It was regarding his claim about how something was eternal didn't exist, and how his God was eternal, so did that mean that his God didn't exist. He has neither posted my question nor dared respond to it.

I particularly like when they say that god and Jesus exist outside reality and it doesn't occur to them that reality includes all real things and things outside reality aren't real.

Did he ever say why he thinks that his two categories in his dichotomy are illogical and unscientific? I think they are both quite reasonable - and one of them is even true.

And he says that an atheist MUST believe in one of them. What happened to "I don't know how the universe came to exist but I cannot take the hypothesis that a god exist seriously for a number of reasons so I am an atheist"

And there is of course my 3rd option that I wrote below.

A possible 3rd option:

In the 9th dimension of the alpha-verse there is a type of cosmic slug - uncaused and eternal and living outside of time but without a mind - who will for some reason shit out a never-ending stream of fresh, steaming universes in a sort of cosmic fecal bukake. Since they have no mind we can not call them gods and therefore I can still be an atheist and believe in them. But they fall under none of his categories since they exist outside of space/time.

@foxlake02 I think you are right. I searched "elliott argument" on youtube, and it seems like he is doing that to a lot of people. I think now that he may very well be trolling, especially after seeing the "PAULCHARTLEY OWNED!!!" response.

I just asked him to clarify how the universe coming from nothing was illogical, but God coming from nothing was logical. His summary already said that God didn't come from "Pure" nothingness, so I finished by asking him to also tell be the difference between "Nothingness" and "Pure Nothingness". That post never made the cut, and he never responded.

Oh bugger.... I made the stupid mistake of posting on one of his vids before I saw this vid of yours. The comment hasn't been published due to his need to approve comments, first, but I hope he doesn't now spam my channel with loads of gibberish :-(

One good thing came out of this, I came hear after wanting to heer from someone he had allegedly 'pwned'. I found this video did an excellent job of pwnage on his daft argument and you now have a new subscriber.
