Jesus was most definetly a marxist and a collectivist. That's why, as a free market capitalist, I don't buy into his bullshit. Christians try and justify those verses of Jesus by saying he meant for private citizens to donate, then why did he say "It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter into heaven."

Religion can be used as a blunt political instrument by anyone. The Right has co-opted religion and perverted it. They don't care about anyone other than themselves. They are the most selfish people on God's Green Earth. The last two people that told me they were Christian businessmen, didn't pay their bills and breached their contracts. Liberal.... what a dirty word.... meaning ironically

yes I can see that these are all dispicable and vile things and obviously Jesus couldn't embody any of these traits or characteristics.

If you want to really understand how liberal Jesus was, you need to know two things, first of course, what Jesus taught by his words and by his life, but also WHAT the word "liberal" really means as opposed to the stupid things conservatives THINK it means.
