High Park BMX To Relocate With Help of Community Members | Toronto | Canada

A BMX Park in High Park, Toronto, Ontario Canada is being dismantled and relocated due to a claim that an Aboriginal Burial Ground is located at the site. This video is designed to educate the community about the issues, and connect those working towards collaborative, peaceful solutions for all.

A number of people contributed to the production, editing of the video. Some contact information for community leaders, City of Toronto officials and Toronto Police Service officers are posted here to facilitate a peaceful solution for all.

I think it's funny. The Native Americans are complaining about a burial site that they haven't apparently been to in the past 20 years. The riders, on the other hand, actually care more deeply about the land than the natives. Outsiders of BMX don't have the capacity to realize how awesome something like this was. What's even more ironic is that the spirits would be honored, if anything, for all the sweat, blood, and tears that went into the hard work above them.

@Equinoxx1337 Since you "don't give a shit about the Native community" when you've unjustly benefited from unearned privileges at the expense of the Native people (and other poor, marginalized people), why then do you wish to live on stolen Native land near people that you don't care about? The Native community and their non-Native allies and friends worked a lot harder trying to preserve sacred sites from desecration than a bunch of spoiled kids blinded by their own unearned privileges did.
