right on, another who see's mediocrity for what it really is. I've tried to appreciate king's music, but she gives me a headache rather quickly. She says her main inspiration is Preston Reed?, well just go listen to how it's really done folks, yet Reed doesn't get the kind of recognition king gets, i have a theory on that for which i will keep to myself. Suffice to say, very few out there can cover a master(obviously in so many ways)...like Hedges, Reed

I hate kaki kings version of this great tune!for example she totally fucks up the intro. hedges plays the intro with tricky rhythmical finesse. this is what makes the intro special and interesting. she didn´t get that rhythm at all and plays it more like wishy washy and totally boring! so she does the whole song. she allways strums all six strings so that there is no melody and no base line. dynamics also is a foreign word to her.
so i beg you people, listen to the original of MICHAEL HEDGES
