Climbing Esja massif on a warm May afternoon.

First part of the video shows the most popular climbing route to the Þverfellshorn ( 780 m asl ) - where most people think is the actual Esja peak which IS NOT. You must walk northeast for around 3 more kilometres on top of the plateau to reach the Hábunga ( 914 m asl ) - this is the actual peak of Esja massif.

This video shows you the trek to the Hábunga, views to north, south, east and west and then the way down.
