On April 12, 2011, four (4) leaders of the main Federal Political parties were brought together to participate in a debate on live TV broadcast nationally. It was two (2) hours long, where these leaders debated a number of issues pertaining to the election. The four leaders included: 1) the Right Honourable Stephen Harper (Conservative Party); 2) the late Jack Layton (NDP); 3) Michael Iggy Ignatieff (of the near defunct Liberal Party); and Gilles Duceppe (of the now defunct Bloc Quebecois - a party dedicated to the destruction of Canada).

Note the tie that Duceppe wore for that evening. It displayed a reptilian design - which turned out to be appropriate for this individual.
