  • @memom010605 These great sounds of the 60's and 70's will never be replicated or appreciated as much as we boomers did back in the day. Thank you for your kind response to my post. All the best to you my friend. Choa!.

  • this is the era when sensitive romance ruled; now it's nothing but having intercourse with every slut who gives you a passing glance, teens on their knees, and high infidelity!

  • I grew up in this era..and it doesn't get any better than this. Music of today has lost it soul, and will easily be forgotten unlike the great music of the 60's.

  • 22 years old. I used to love it when my mom played oldies. Love this REAL music

  • You gotta' see "The Jersey Boys"! Puts it all in perspective. Although, Frankie's falsetto was a fluke. They were just fooling around during a break in recording when the engineer came back in and recorded what they were doing. Can't remember what song it was.....doesn't really matter.

  • I love all the 4 seasons early 60s stuff but this one and the rarely-aired 'Huggin' my pillow' remain my favorites. As for Frankie solo, another rare gem is 'The Proud One', but I personally don't find his vocals very interesting without that killer falsetto. The Bob Gaudio factor in arrangement and songwriting is sometimes overlooked.

  • @LouHarrison92 gotta love it!! teens on their knees???

  • I wish some one could invent a time machine that would take us back to 1960-69. All of us who grew up then are now in our 60's. What a wonderful time it was, thanks for posting one of my favorite 4 Seasons recordings.

  • @ynbeme65 .. the song is called "F_ _ _ You". Nominated Record of the Year last year. Radios play the tame version "Forget You". Its on youtube.

  • @sintrade who

  • This was the music we baby boomers grew up on. Makes me SICK thinking songs today, like by Cee Lo Green, get nominated for Record of the Year.
