Not my best ILS approach since I had to look out the window for traffic the entire time, but a good test of my video equipment setup. Looks like I need to disable auto focus. Some RPM settings are causing havic with the camera. Let me know you comments. Thanks. Please visit us at http://www.110knots.com for more.

  • great flight, was autopilot on and just heading was off or was it manual

  • @topgunnaxa Nope, all hand flown. thanks for the comment!

  • Man I just laugh my a@s off every time I listen to my self say "that's the way you do it" "do it"

  • Congrats on the instrument completion Mike! And the video was great. What is you mount system?

  • I just mounted the camera on a tripod behind the copilot seat. I am working on some other options. The tripod takes up to much room and blocks the seat from sliding back. If you do not have a fire extinguisher between your seats you could put the third leg of the tripod between the seats. That works well, but not in the newer planes.

  • Great video. Sorry I haven't watched and commented sooner. That whole RPM thing is interesting isn't it. I need to upgrade my camera. What are you using?

  • @rdfelty Canon HF S10. You should see the footage before YouTube get's its hands on it. It is much better.

  • Just subscribed to your vids. I've flown to RDG twice on training for my PPL. I'm flying out of Caldwell, so hopefully we can meet some time. Thanks for the vids, keeps the motivation going.

  • Great video... good job of flying... great landing

  • Get Ultra Video Joiner and encode the videos in H.264 MP4 format, work through the quality settings from good to superv, you will get a very small file size with really high image quality.

  • No I didn't make it to the show (think there was something going on with the family).. Thanks for the comment.
