This should be the opening song. It is better than the slow one. I remember seeing this cartoon on saturday mornings. Maybe it was cheaply done, but for me it was great!

Of all the intros and interludes Rocket Robin Hood used, this is the only one I remember. This song stayed in my head since the mid-sixties. Funny how that works. Thank you for the posting.

My favourite of the short songs they used in that old tv show.

I meant to say "I just didn't know that I was singing it wrong for almost 30 years."
-
Watch out for that ray gun, it could give you a nasty JOLT!
-
No I trust you. I just didn't know I was singing it for almost 30 years. :D

Rocket RobinHood rocks so much XD It's not a cheesey cartoon with crappy graphics, what do they know. XD It IS THE BEST CARTOON EVA MADE.

Look at how F-ing retarded Prince John looks when he's madly zapping that stupid gun every which way.
In times of Trouble, times of woe
the dark before the dawn
We turn to Robin for his strenght,
his brains, as well his raw
So though the villain holds his reign
there'll come our dawn, there'll come our day

I thought it was "Although the villan pulls his ray ther'll come our dawn, there'll come our day with Rocket Robin hood?"

That particular "holds his sway" line was as confusing as the "through the... courtesy of Fred's two feet" line in "The Flinstones" theme, from what I can tell, based on how so many different people thought it was dirrerent things. But trust me, it's "hold his sway". (Or don't trust me - google the phrase, like I did a while back, and you'll see that it HAS to be it.)
