@kadafi150 Where does that say in the Quran?
-
@m0vic0l Masha Allah you have spoken well. she loves what she is doing but indeed is the surrounding correct. either than that i think she is seriously encouraging women to work hard on their Quran and Get that closeness to Allah.

ppl ppl,in terms of 'hijab(including voice)' the quran first and foremost commands the believing men to observe hijab(i.e. lower ur gaze-means literally AND its other meanings of segregate from women etc).Thus any man listening to this he ALONE will be responsible and questionable abt listenin to this woman or any other women(minus his mahrum).2ndly this lady im sure did not request to put this video up n from wat ic her recitation are aimed at women gatherings-only ALLAH knws her intention.

@ayeshter How old are you?
-
@ayeshter once again i can safely say that in surah ahzab u will find the proof that sisters should only speak to certain males in the tafseer you wil also see it is because the voice is a temptation look im not trying to attack the sister her recitation is pretty good so dont make this an emotional thing islam is islam the man made a correct point im sorry i didnt provide the evidence for why women dont lead the salah but surah ahzab shud suffice check it out and let me know what u think

@Sawltrini If you thought it was a guy without looking at her than whats the problem? If you have to see her to tell her voice is a woman's voice...how will men be tempted? Maybe we should solve this problem by covering our eyes when listening to Qur'an? :P
Amazing recitation by the way, Mashallah

Mashallah, but I doubt it is right for a grown up women to recite and raise her voice where men can hear her, you may not do that in salaat also, salam

Aisha (ra) taught men Quran, women spoke to men, and women even carried wounded men from the battlefield in Jihad. You tell a Muslim today to let his wife learn to fight and he looks at you like a lunatic. Many things "wrong" today were common to the Sahaba. It's important to study the state of Madinah.Tthey were more religious than the liberal people today, and more liberal than the religious people today. Anyway, sister Sharifah is an amazing Qariah. She makes me want to learn Quran more.
