  • @sallycantdanceful 1: nothing suspicious but remarkable simple science: Supercooled water, water below freezing but not frozen. 2: nothing falls from the cap, the air bubble agitates the water and creates a nucleation site, allowing an ice crystal to form: 3 A cascade effect begins as ice crystal forms on ice crystal, leading to a slushy mix of ice and water. It's as real as it comes. Mostly pure water is easy to super-cool. Anyone can do this at home...anyone.

  • you dont need sodium acetate. in my high school sometimes when i would buy water at lunch it would do this. it was actually pretty cool. always unexpected.
