Horror Shots Pin Up Fundraiser

Our Story

Simply Twisted Productions is the brainchild of Chris Saint and Morgue Anne, who came together to work on The Twisted Geeks Podcast only to discover that they were the perfect balance of good and evil.... But mostly evil. We have decided for our first official project to combine our love of horror movies with Saint's media expertise and Morgue's experience in the world of horror modeling. We plan to create 12 posters with images inspired by iconic characters and moments in horror. Each poster will be 11x17 inches in size and will have a "common" and a "rare" edition. Common print versions will have an unlimited run, and while they will always contain an element of Morgue Anne's trademark sexuality, there will be no nudity. Rare editions will have a limited print run of 25. The scene of each rare image will correspond to a common, but will contain some level of nudity or otherwise "Adult" content. All nudity will be done in a tasteful, erotic-art fashion; our goal is not to create pornography but to celebrate woman and the female form in horror.With your funding through IndieGoGo, you will help us pay for equipment, rental of studio space, make-up, costumes, and prop pieces, as well as reimburse the photographers for their hard work and help fund the initial print run. We want to make sure we are contributing to the Seattle art scene by reimbursing everyone involved for their time and energy.

The Impact

We at Simply Twisted are attendees of all of the major fan conventions in the greater Seattle Area as well as several all over the country, and would love to be able to bring our art to these as a contribution to the fan's world of horror and fantasy. We hope to use this project as a launching point to get our name into the community and raise funds for future endeavors. This money will go to support the local creative community by bringing together artists of all mediums and give them the much needed money and support that they deserve for their hard work.

What We Need & What You Get

We have set a goal of X to ensure that everything is covered and everyone gets paid for their work. Far too often photographers work for free and models are only given a one-time payment for their efforts while image sales continue. We want to bring support to Seattle Culture by hiring artists rather than using their talents for free. We are working with fantastic local photographer Mandy Mcgee and renting out Seattle Hot Spots like The Center for Sex Positive Culture to create the most professional and high quality product that we possibly can.
