Get Prepared (Spanish)

The Get Prepared video highlights three families who manage significant medical/ functional needs in their activities of daily living. The video portrays everyday challenges, the need for personal emergency preparedness planning for all types of hazards - such as natural disaster (i.e. hurricanes), acts of terrorism, or any emergent event that would disrupt their activities of daily living. This video encourages those with significant medical/ functional needs to participate in the Hampton Roads Medical Needs Registry (www.hrspecialneeds.org), a planning tool that will be used by local emergency managers to better plan for those in the community with medical or functional needs. The Medical Needs Registry is voluntary and all information collected will be kept confidential and stored securely. (Spanish Version)
