SSBM: Falco and Fox Tutorial Part 1

A Falco/Fox tricks and advanced techniques tutorial video for a fellow Youtuber, Vulnerabilities. This was supposed to be a quick video but I have to finish it some other time. If you still feel that you don't understand anything, i'll be glad to help you out.

@TheAnkielFan24 Oh sure, to shine-bair, just shine -> jump -> bair. It's the same for both Fox and Falco. It's harder to pull of with Fox however since your opponent doesn't fly upward when shined.

@StriCNYN3 Okay. That's good, but I have a tournament coming soon, so can you give me a quick description of how to shine-bair? I can't find how to do it. I need it for fox and falco if it's different. You can send through message if it's easier.

@StriCNYN3 oh ok, because i figured that i was either starting the shine too early or too late, but after hearing what you said i guess there isn't too much to be done with it, it just gets frustrating when you do a dair and you know you L-cancelled correctly but the shine just doesn't work and your just standing there waiting to get grabbed.Thanks for you help, and ill wait to see whats in part 2

@TheAnkielFan24 Actually, I was kinda thinking of making a part 2 of this tutorial. When I finally get my Hauppauge, part 2 will be one of the first things I'll be starting =)

@MrJasonekos I know what you mean, that still happens to me even to this day. It's all a matter of timing the shine after the shffl right. The time window for L cancling is always the same too. All i can say is remember to hit L/R after attacking and before landing.

@StriCNYN3 thanks for you're help on why to do Shffl's late. And onto the cancelling; the real move i have trouble with is Fox's dair to shine -- i am inconsistent with it and the correct timing seems random at time, and for some reason i try doing the same timing with a dair to a jab, or down A and it works fine, but for some reason when i try to transition the dair into a shine it doesn't work half the time

@MrJasonekos Also, about not cancling moves at times, it depends on what aerial you're doing. For example, Falco's bair finishes its animation faster than his dair, and it cancels itself out before you land, meaning you don't have to L cancel his bair, unlike his dair in which you have to at all times.

I haven't seen you play, but maybe you're trying to L cancel moves that don't need to be since you said you do shffls asap and are over pressing things?
