Ike Moriz is starting 2011 with a bang! "South Africa's Tony Bennett" (Full Circle) is bringing out a brand new 15 track swing album, his 10th studio album to date. It features South African guitarist Morne Van Der Merwe, Navy big band leader Willie Van Zyl on clarinet & saxophone as well as A. McPike on keys & responsible for arrangements.
The fresh new CD has a distinctive minimalist feel to it, thriving on Ike's shining, full-bodied, smooth and diverse vocals. It contains many classic hits from the swing genre, including 4 songs with French lyrics: La Mer, Les Feuilles Mortes, Hymn A L'Amour and the title track C'est Si Bon.
A sound feast from the southern most point of Africa worthy of exploration.

Biography:
International SA pop star, singer, producer & actor IKE MORIZ (Cosmopolitan hot talent) has received wide acclaim for his 11 albums ranging from original melodic indie Rock/Pop to Latin/Easy Listening & Jazzy Swing (all available on iTunes). His songs were played in 17 countries worldwide reaching No.1 in the UK, Holland, South Africa & Germany. Ike has acted in many major international feature films such as 'Alfie', 'Shanghai Knights' and 'Love Actually', and he appeared in local TV programs like 'Showbiz Report', 'Top Billing' & 'Backstage', as well as UK TV series 'Eastenders', 'Family Affairs' and 'The Bill' et al. 'South Africa's own indie pop idol' (The Citizen, Cape Argus) studied music and acting in South Africa, Germany and Holland after a jet-setting childhood. The versatile singer, actor, producer and songwriter spent five years in London, fronting rock bands, performing in musicals and running his own label Mosquito Records London, before returning to his favorite country South Africa in 2005. He was voted one of the top five singers in South Africa in 2006. He is the resident entertainer at 3 of the most prestigious '5 star' hotels in Cape Town (e.g.: Cape Grace). His songs have taken the SA radio charts by storm while his music videos rock SA TV channels. Ike has performed at all major venues in Cape Town and Johannesburg with his band of top session musicians (e.g. Kirstenbosch, City Hall, Waterfront Amphitheatre, FTV, Back2Basics, Blues Room, Green Dolphin, Rainbow Room etc.).
