11 year old Mckenzie on the shooting range performing drills with Tactical Response. This was a two day Tactical Response Fighting Pistol training course. One of the best training organizations in the Nation.
@FallenAquila Most cases of ND comes from mishandling a firearms (by being foolish and joking around, to accidentally putting your finger in the trigger guard) If anything the chances of that firing in her holster is far less than her actually needing to use it!
The only time I would criticize the instructor for that, is if it was a state that required mag out and chamber cleared for carry. This however was in NV by the description, so is not necessary.
@MelioraCogito it's a glock, most likely a G19, as such it is a striker fired pistol (there is also double action pistols too meaning that it is never cocked), with several drop and interia blocks to keep it from accidentally discharging.
It is also a defensive pistol course, pistol defense requires quick reaction time, which having to chamber a round slows you down. There is nothing inherently dangerous about leaving a round chambers -continued
@pupdog2pa until proven otherwise, there is everything wrong with the way she holstered that pistol .. loaded & cocked (it appears she did not pull the trigger after the last magazine was inserted).
If she did, then it had (as you say) a snap cap - however, the weapon was still not cleared [mag removed & chamber inspected] by the RSO before she turned & walked off the firing point.
This is sloppy range operation - esp. if this was a training course.
Total badass

This is a parenting win. Get this girl in Mixed Martial Arts, and she will be the ultimate woman by the time she's 20.

Impressive. Good IA's until she was told to stop .. didn't clear the pistol before holstering it.
Not only that, she turned and walked off the firing point with what can only be assumed at this point to be a loaded cocked weapon in her holster.
The range officer needs a smack upside the head for allowing it.

@justinwbohner With as much body and muscle mass as she has to support it, I'm impressed she can control it at all. Par for the course.
