The Mackinac Bridge Labor Day Run is one of Michigan's great traditions. Starting on the U.P. side of the bidge, thousands of people, mostly walkers, but 300 runners cross the bridge from 7:00 to 2:00 p.m. The governor leads the entourage, and in the case of Jennifer Granholm, she runs it. MR
