The Mackinac Bridge Labor Day Run is one of Michigan's great traditions. Starting on the U.P. side of the bidge, thousands of people, mostly walkers, but 300 runners cross the bridge from 7:00 to 2:00 p.m. The governor leads the entourage, and in the case of Jennifer Granholm, she runs it. MR
OMG I did the labor day bridge walk thing when I was maybe 10yrs old, very scary thing when you can look down thru the metal grating lane 200ft or so below to the water, or look below off the edge, if you got a 50-60mph wind gust you could easily be blown off the edge.......
