On September 24, participants from around the country will race up the 1,500 steps to the top of the U.S. Bank Tower in downtown Los Angeles, in support of the Ketchum-Downtown YMCA's community programs.

Four-person teams will combine their strength to conquer the tower, followed by firefighters, police officers, rangers, highway patrol and other public safety personnel who will also compete in a special division to earn the title High-Rise Hero Team. Later, individuals will step up to the challenge to race to the top, and public safety personnel will compete as High Rise Hero individuals!

During and after the race, participants, friends, family, and downtown employees will gather for the Race Expo celebration and awards ceremony on Hope Street and Hope Place.

All participants work hard to raise funds in support of the YMCA's community programs. Visit www.ymcastairclimb.org today for more information or to sponsor a participant!
