This is the dance that some of the children of LAMB Fellowship did for the Purim celebration. They danced to two songs (done as one big dance because they flow, one into the other) from the musical "The Covenant" by Elizabeth and Robert Muren. The songs are called "Mordecai's letter" and "Esther's Prayer".
The first part of the dance is Mordecai telling Esther about Haman's plot to kill the Jews. Because Mordecai is clothed in sackcloth and ashes, he is not allowed beyond the palace gates. Esther and Mordecai must use messengers to communicate.
The second part of the dance is when Esther, her servants and the other Jews are praying for 3 days before going to the King. The children represent Esther's handmaids and some of the palace "guardsmen".
