I grew up with this and still love it. My dad looked like Ray and possibly had the same clothes and hat for a very long time.

I always remembered hearing this at just 5 years old in 1977- this must've been actually the first song I ever remember hearing- even at 5 I thought this song sounded great. Funny thing is just 6 months ago in 2010 I was back in that neighbourhood for the first time in 33 years and i went by to see if the old house was still there- it was - and as i sat in the car remembering sittin in my dad's 76 ford in the driveway & hearing it, it came on the radio again right then! MASSIVE flashback! :)
