  • Thank for this video! Watched it the other day and tried the technique today! Worked wonderfully!

  • Super! glad I could help

  • full speed I assume?

  • No that wheel can go faster. it does bog down though so when i release the clay it goes much faster then when i am applying pressure. for wheels like brents and stewarts it may be full speed.

  • Thank you for teaching so well. Your videos have saved me much confusion. You are a great teacher-- it's evident that you care about what you are imparting. Thanks!

  • Well thank you!

  • im 17 and i threw 50+ pounds in my clay out of the pugmill.

i allways get it up real high and it colapses around the neck when i start to shape it.

    good practice though.

REALLY HURTS MY WRISTS! our clay is real hard it sucks T_T

  • the whole elbow in your hip part surprised me because i naturally do that to center any size piece of clay

  • This is very helpful in that you show how to use more leverage and less muscle, thanks for posting : )

  • Tim, did you ever do the 35 pound video? Can't find it.

Great video as usual. You New Yorkers got it goin' on.

  • He "people with a large piece of clay has a tendency to stop breathing"..

    That sounds dangerous ^^

  • tendancy of not breathing XD good job

  • tim, nice video, but when you do the next centering video, if you can can you do it write out of the bag to illustrate whether or not you hit and shape it before putting it onto wheelhead or if you wedge it then, also what clay were you using in thus was is coleman por.?
