***Disclaimer***
All models, motion data, and music belong to their respective owners and are not affiliated with MMD LIVE. They are not mine.
This was my very first test recording on the MMD LIVE stage. This is before the two banners were put up. Notice that the background is also lower in this one, and that the display screen is farther behind the stage. It was shot in standard definition with an older camera than the one I used for the later videos.
---What is MMD LIVE?---
"MMD LIVE" is a homemade project that attempts to recreate the feel of a live Vocaloid concert on a small scale. Using holographic-illusion technology, MMD models appear to move in 3D space on a miniature stage without the need for a projector. All images are photographed live and are in no way composited or "green-screened" into the video. This is NOT Augmented Reality. My goal is to make a complete "concert" by posting various songs with Vocaloid characters performing them on this stage.
---How does it work?---
See my channel.
---What's the point of this project?---
The goal of the MMD LIVE project is to demonstrate an alternate technology that could be used for live Vocaloid concerts. Due to resource and budget limitations, I was not able build a life-sized version of this project. However, it can be done and the same technology I used for this project can be used for Miku's concerts. This would solve 3 problems:
1 - Elimination of the glow stick reflections on the screen
2 - Even illumination across the entire area - Miku does not fade as she moves horizontally
3 - Elimination of projector light obscuring parts of Miku

I DO NOT re-distribute MMD data of any sort.
Program - Miku Miku Dance v 7.39
Model - Izumi Konata (Haruhi Version)
Motion - from VPVP Wiki
Music - Hare Hare Yukai (TV Size)
Even better then when Konata did it in Cosplay Theatre in Lucky*Star :)
Great Job!

did you change some settings cause your model is a lot more transparent than in the other vids. None the less still top notch, keep up the good work.

@thanhproduction Yes - this clip is quite old (see upload date) and was a test video (see description). It was my "test drive" of how the rig would work and as you can see I changed quite a few things in my later videos. This gives some insight into the development of my stage.

@ColorfullyCutiex3 Really??? It was my very first attempt at doing this! I feel this one has the most 3D look, but I changed some things due to a few issues I had with how the footage came out.
