Good luck, hopefully nothing serious. I've got similar markings on my underarms, but hopefully by exercising and eating right, I'll see it disappear :)

@tamayoi i still have it, the doctor assured me that it might get better soon with medicine, because i don't have diabetes, but it can also be a sign of cancer so im just getting tests done before medication is provided to me.

Hi:). I have the same disease and I'm just 18 years old. Also have it on my neck and underarms. It's just a skin condition I've been to doctor after doctor after doctor and specialists and they've all said the same thing is it from being slightly over weight? Yes. But not from cancer or diabetes. I actually gained weight but I changed my diet to more water and more fruit and mine cleared up completely if you need any advice or just a ear to listen message me on here :)

It's related to Insulin Resistence or Metabolic Syndrome, which can lead eventually to diabetes (even though you're in the clear now). Creams can help the appearance only but won't get at the root of the problem. It will improve or resolve on its own with weight loss and a healthy diet, which will improve your insulin levels.

@rstoronto1000 oh yea thanks i know. I just went to the doctors yesterday and i have all of these new pills and lost 10lbs. so she said it was a step in the right direction, but im no where near clear from AN, just from diabetes.
