Run to End Poverty (R2EP) is a team of compassionate runners taking strides to end extreme poverty in Africa. With every kilometer logged and dollar raised, our runners are helping to connect the skills and ambition of our African Partners to real opportunity.

Each R2EP team across Canada is partnered with a development initiative taking place in Africa, where our partner organization Engineers Without Borders (EWB) is working to build local capacity and create positive change.Through this connection, R2EP offers Canadian runners an opportunity to learn more about international development and the impact being made by organizations like EWB.
Since the first run in 2007, Run to End Poverty teams have raised over $105,000 from more than 2,000 donors in support of EWB's development efforts in Africa. In 2011, Run to End Poverty teams will be running in eight cities across Canada including Vancouver, Kelowna, Calgary, Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Ottawa, Montreal, and Toronto.
