I searched around for help on how to rebuild the 4 speed shifter for the Dagenham 4 Speed going into my 1963 Ford Falcon Wagon, but didn't find anything! No exploded diagram or video or even pictures. So, to help others once I figured this out, I made this video. Make sure to leave a comment if it helped you and check out MyRideisMe.com when you're done.

  • It's great to hear this video helped some of you! Without that spare shifter that was pretty close to the same kind... and my pop's help, I woulda been totally lost! I hate that feeling!

  • Please tell a friend and check out my website when you're done!

  • I'm very happy these videos helped someone! I've been very lucky to have my pops supporting me with all the MANY things I didn't understand. I hope I'm giving back some of what he gave me.

  • YOUR A CHAMPION. I've been lost trying to figure out how to put that high tension littler of the 2 spring back in thanks for the help

  • You have provided a great public service. I scratched my head trying to remember how to reassemble mine. Then I remembered that everything you want or need to know is on the internet or "THE GODFATHER" movie. I could have had a couple more beers relaxing if I would have watched your video first. Guess I will have them now. Thanks man. Will check out your website.

  • Thanks for the video. It helped me out as I worked on my shifter. My only concern is using grease. I would think silicone would be sufficient as grease attracts dirt and grime. Just a thought, maybe someone who does this for a living can chime in.

  • Sir, you saved my donkey today. Had one that wouldn't lock out reverse... after watching, we found that we had the plates in wrong. Works great now !! Thanks !!!

  • can you please build a b&M mega shifter please??

  • And here I've been trying to slip the washer in between the key and the housing :( Thanks for posting this-I should have this turkey back together in 20 min.

  • Great video man! this is very helpful.
