The sound of trying to sing with vocal cord nodules

I've had vocal cord nodules, also called karaoke nodules, for over a year now. I developed them from a bad habit of screaming when I'm angry and sining wrong and without warming up . It used to be a lot worse. I used to not be able to put out any natural sound on the scale. Here I can get the last part out some what okay. On my other videos you can hear that I love to sing. I'm not supposed to sing, scream, rise my voice, whisper, and I'm supposed to drink 64 oz. of water a day. I also can't clear my throat, if I need to clear it I instead must hum softly and take a sip of water. I really want my voice back but it's been hard to follow through with all of these things. I have to talk in a low normal voice, then I have people going "huh" all the time and I have to repeat myself. This is twice the work on my cords which kinda defeats the purpose of resting them in the first place! I feel like a caged song bird who gets pelted with bebe's if it tries to sing!

i love my nodules, they allow me to produce sounds most people cannot!

i know singers who have been screaming and singing for 15 years + and dont develop these. I honestly dont believe it has to do with their technique as much as it does their genetics. I think some people just get them easier than others.

Hey , i had that same sound about 6 years ago, i then got in a music duo and it repaired itself
