  • Can we all wear dresses like that? PLEASE? :)

  • I love how after this elaborate cape dance and theatrics, she just turns and says, "No!" Love his voice between 4:30 and 4:44......enough to really make a girl swoon ;-D.

  • Best ending to a song ever.

  • Just proof once again that its always the villains in Disney films that have the best parts. And the best actors.

  • @k8eereads I never noticed that - you're RIGHT!!

  • @LittleLambsTLC

Yup, I got it too. "There was a crooked man who walked a crooked mile. He found a crooked sixpence upon a crooked stile. He bought a crooked cat, who caught a crooked mouse. And they all lived together in a little crooked house."

  • Did anyone else pick up on Mr. Barnaby as being the "crooked man" of Mother Goose Nursery rhymes? (There was a crooked man, he walked a crooked mile, lived in a crooked house, etc) It was YEARS later that I watched this and I got the reference...though I suppose in this case, they went with the criminal definition for "crooked"

  • "Will you marry me?"

    "No."

"If I do an elaborate song and dance number, will you marry me?" ;)

  • I recently saw Annette and Ann Jillian at the CVS store in Sherman Oaks, CA. Felt so sorry for Annette in a wheelchair and one the other side of the store I bumped into Ann Jillian - neither knew the other w in the same store. They both looked GREAT!

  • Now I know why I loved Babes In Toyland when I was a girl. Ray Bolger as Barnaby!? How awesome is that!?

  • This is way better than the Disney Channel crap they got on now. (I'm aware this was a theatrical movie originally, but Disney Channel used to LOVE airing this every Christmas even during the 1997-2002 Disney Channel era when it aired on the Vault Disney block).

  • I just love the Scarecrow (Ray Bolger) singing in this movie
