Ima beginner but i know how to use blender(learned it fast) but i think my rigs are kinda sucky & i saw superboy3's tutorial on assigning the bone to the vertices & i didnt get it but this helped me. I might try to rig assigning the vertices now.

when i select the arm it selects the leg too, any help?

hay dude make things easier when doing the amrs an legs . make one side then click them all then hit shift d to dupe them then esc , then press ctrl m then x but make sure ur curser thing is placed in the middle of the things chest n it will put ur bones on the other side

when i go to object mode, i don't see the vertex boxs. help?

Also, when I try doing the skinning process at the end of the video, when I click "select", the leg gets selected too.
