This is gameplay footage of the awesome rhythm game for Nintendo DS. This on the hardest difficulty and I'm using Commander Kahn, the secret character. Look at the way he dances. What a pansy . . .

You can unlock Kahn by clearing the game on Elite Beat mode (the hardest)

This video was captured with camstudio through No$. It's a replay that was saved after an incredible run. It's not easy to play on an emulator ;D

Support this game, it deserves a sequel

  • I think it's underrated in the sense that the only people who would ever think this was an AWESOME would be the ones who've actually played it. Those who haven't would probably have to be dared in order to play it. Unfortunate, really, but still, the game is win.

  • @pokegan32155 Nah, if I did, wouldn't they all be 300s? This game is too fun to cheat.

Why are people arguing over if this game takes skill or not. PEOPLE ARE SOLVING WORLD PROBLEMS WITH SINGING.

    THAT IS AWESOME.

  • @Nathaniel21 try to get it exactly at the beat... it's a skill trust me

  • @Nathaniel21 Your deductions are reasonable, however:

You'll know when to expect notes as they match the beat of the song.

The active area of the screen that notes appear is limited and the placement is predictable. Each phrase is a single color, and notes of that phrase have a little dotted line pointing to the next note.

It only looks random and unpredictable. A seasoned player would have no problem playing fresh

I suggest you give this game a shot you're a fan of DDR and beats. Good games

  • @Metaldeoxys Not really, DDR and this android app called "beats" are games of actual skill.

In this game you hit random spots and make curvy lines, even so that an expert player at the game would be thrown off playing a song on the hardest difficulty for the first time because he/she wouldn't know what to expect.

Whereas in DDR and beats, the places were you step or tap on are consistently right in front of you.

  • @Nathaniel21 Just like any other rhythm game? :3

  • @SonOfAsimov I never said it wasn't hard. All the random waves and where the notes are going to pop up next are sometimes too fast, almost to a point where it would seem like it would be heavily be a memorization game than one of actual skill.

  • @Nathaniel21 you have no idea how hard this is

  • @Nathaniel21 When you have a memory as bad as mine, it becomes skill ;D
