BELLEVILLE, NJ - On Sunday, February 19, around 9 a.m., the Belleville Fire Department was dispatched for a report of a fire at 119 Washington Avenue.
The Chief arrived on scene and reported smoke showing and that there was a fire on the first floor of a 3-story residential-over-commercial.
Companies arrived and went right to work. It was then reported that the fire was extending to the upper floors, prompting Command to request a second alarm, which brought several mutual-aid companies to the scene.
As mutual aid began to arrive, the building started becoming heavily involved and command requested an evacuation and exterior operations to begin
Numerous deck guns and ladder pipes went into operation.
A minor collapsed occurred on the B-side of the building as companies began to make progress.
At thie time of this writing it was unknown as to cause or if any injuries occurred.

You wanna know something? I lived in that house about 10 years ago. I'm 17 now and I was 7 when I moved out of the appartment. I lived on the 3rd floor and under us was a train shop. My mom used to own the Antique shop next to it. But them my aunt was running it. Thanx for makin this vid to see the tragety of my home.
