@TatsDragon7 the higher the gein the more you hear how bad/good is a pedal and it`s the same with the tonelab crunch is good distortion sucks
-
@dougkaty Mate......you didn`t get the same tone...you only thought you did because you have fuckin CLOTH ears......... The Axe FX BLOWS the shitty tonelab out of the galaxy ...... get real or don`t post crap...where`s your audio proof ?

A good lesson I've learned is DON'T settle for less than what you want. Period. Save. Save. Save as long as it takes. Then buy what you want. You will end up so much happier.

Wow cool. Did you have to pay much for customs? I keep hearing about Aus people on the Axe-FX boards bitching about paying $200 and $300 customs and it's kind of scaring me.
-
man just man up and buy one. I live in aus it it isnt anything like 3k to get one here landed. Priced to be $2300 with the better aud price.
-
I live in Australia and I will have to pay $3000 for the Axe inc shipping, GST, and customs

what setup did you have before the axe? did you use tubes or were you one of the many vetta converts?

Peavey Bravo and Rock Master preamp thru a Thiele cab w/EVM 12L is my main setup right now. If I had to pick, I would still go with my Peavey stuff for live. The AxeFX is close but not quite there yet for me. Great for recording.
